The point is to try and optimize the site as much as we can so it appears on better search results on Google, Bing, Yahoo and other search engines and try to beat those Travel Industry Monsters…
We are now affiliated with Booking.com and we get commissions for every reservation made thru the links on our website. The point of this is of course make some money while we try to optimize our site. And out of every dollar made on this site, there’ll be a percent going to charity houses in Cancun.
About me.
Hello! My name is Noël and I’m the one who created Playa del Carmen.
I’m an Online Marketing Entrepreneur (If you can say that). I love trying new things online with different websites and different tools.
The cool thing is that I started my working life in tourism as a Concierge and loved every single moment of it, I worked for over 5 years directly in Guest Services departments, not to mention that I always helped my parents at their place in Puerto Morelos, a little hotel on the beach with cabanas.
I then started working as an Online Marketer in a new business idea in Cancun, quite a change right! And I loved it too.
I then created my own Online Marketing firm in Cancun: Web Cancun at: www.webcancun.com.mx and started doing online marketing for other businesses.
Now I tried to gather together both the experience in Tourism and the experience in Online Marketing to try to do the best with the online Travel Information.
So now, I want to bring both experiences together and try to get to travelers and tourists coming to Cancun some nice information about hotels, tours and things to do in the area.
